RECIPE
1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup almond meal
1 stick unsalted butter
1 cup dark brown sugar
3 egg yolks
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup bleached almonds, chopped

Preheat oven 350 degrees
Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg yolks one at a time mixing well in between each addition. Add vanilla.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, almond flour, cocoa, baking powder and baking soda.
Add the flour mixture into butter mixture and mix until combined. 
Roll a handful of the dough out on a prepared surface until it’s about 3/8″ thick and cut out shapes with a cookie cutter.

Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until browned and slightly firm.
